I created Hot Hex after more than 20 years of living with chronic muscle tension and discomfort. I’d tried everything: massage, stretching, over-the-counter creams. But nothing felt quite right—until I started blending my own formulas.

This balm was born from that long personal journey. It’s now the first thing I reach for when my shoulders are locked up, my lower back feels tight, or I’ve pushed a little too hard. It’s warming, aromatic, and handcrafted with ingredients traditionally used to support comfort and circulation.

🌿 The base:

Sweet almond oil* and Candelilla or Beeswax—rich, skin-friendly, and the perfect foundation for the heat to come. *** These are small batch compounds so if you have a nut allergy, I can substitute another carrier oil**

🌶️ The heat:

Infused cayenne flakes offer a slow-building warmth, drawn from old herbal wisdom.

🪵 The spice:

Clove and cinnamon bring bold, spicy notes that have been used for centuries in warming liniments and massage blends.

💨 The cool-down:

Peppermint and eucalyptus add a sharp, awakening contrast—bright, clarifying, and unmistakable.

💜 The calm:

A swirl of lavender softens the edges and helps bring the body back into balance.
